Introducing our brand NEW FOR 2024 process to submit films to Studio 3!
2 Years ago we created an online submission form to allow the next generation of filmmakers a chance to get their work seen. Since this, we've developed so many brand new processes and techniques to market and promote your film. However, one thing that hasn't changed is the way films are sent to us. We decided we needed to rebrand and change this to make it as simple and easy for filmmakers as possible.
Why Submit to Spotlight?
Since Studio 3's conception in 2020, releasing films has been at our core. We always felt there was a gap in the market for high quality independent film so we thought 'Why not fill that gap?'
But how are we doing this?
Social Media Campaigns
Our dedicated marketing team create custom made social media campaigns that make sense to your film; no copy-paste here! These include a dedicated stills packet, custom trailers, hand-crafted posters, meet the team and lots lots more! We use tried and tested methods to promote your film across our core social media: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and of course YouTube.
At it's core, we believe the film is yours and should stay yours. Therefore, any marketing we create will always be checked and approved by YOU before it ever sees the light of day!
The Release
The most importrant part of course. We've released lots of films over our existance and have learnt lots. We release all our films on our YouTube channel - a perfect hub for indie film. We custom make a thumbnail and related banners for cohesive branding across our channel. Your film will even get its own live YouTube premiere to help build the hype!
For our biggest films*, we even create, host and broadcast live pre-shows giving us the opportunity to take a deep dive into the creation of the film. Click here to see how we did it for Cherry Blossoms in March.
The Data and Facts
'Got any proof?' I hear you say! Fear not. We've released plenty of films and gathered plenty of data from these to back up our claims. Here's a little snippet:
Our release Generational Magic gathered over 100,000 impressions across all our social media channels and 26hours of organic watch-time on YouTube. We then went on and topped that with our next release (The Memoirs of Oswald Gray) gaining 300,000 impressions across social media!
But it keeps getting better- Cherry Blossoms in March, our biggest release to date, has gained over 24,000 organic YouTube views along with well over 350,000 organic impressions on YouTube alone!
